Crease.
Privacy policy

Crease collects no data.

Effective November 4, 2026

Crease is a Sudoku game made by Chase Roossin ("we"). This policy explains what happens to your information when you use the Crease app for iPhone and iPad. In short: nothing leaves your device.

What we collect

Nothing. Crease does not collect, transmit, sell or share any personal information. The app makes no network connections and works entirely offline.

What stays on your device

To save your progress, Crease stores the following locally on your device, using standard iOS storage:

This information never leaves your device and we can't see it. Deleting the app deletes it. If you back up your device with iCloud or a computer, it may be included in that backup, which is governed by Apple's privacy policy.

What we don't do

Information from Apple

If you choose to share analytics with app developers in your device settings, Apple may provide us with aggregated, anonymous usage and crash data through App Store Connect. That data is collected by Apple under Apple's privacy policy and doesn't identify you. TestFlight beta testers may also choose to send feedback or crash reports, which include the details you choose to provide.

Children

Crease is suitable for all ages. Because the app collects no personal information, it collects none from children.

Changes

If this policy ever changes, we'll update this page and its effective date. If Crease ever starts collecting data, we'll say so here and in the App Store listing before it happens.
